Quick Eats: Tuna Quinoa Bowl


Cooking is something that I definitely love to do, you could call it a hobby but also a passion. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed about becoming a chef and when I went to college I tried to put that dream in motion – unfortunately I can’t find the time right now to go back to school to become a professional chef. But that doesn’t mean I’m not pursuing my dream. I still study, mostly on my own by experimenting in the kitchen and cooking for my family and friends. I swear, every time I make a meal at my place it’s as if I have a panel of judges giving their critics on my food. Which is great because that’s how I continue to learn and grow.

Some days though, I honestly don’t feel like cooking and I get really tempted to just order in food but I’m proud to say that I haven’t been giving into my temptations! YAY! So for those out there who are having a lazy kitchen day and you wanna whip up something simple yet healthy, I am here to share with you my go to quinoa bowl recipe!


Tuna Bowl Ingredients

  • 1/2 – 1 Cup Quinoa
  • 1/2 Can of Tuna in Water
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Feta Cheese


  • 1 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 1 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 TSP Dijon Mustard

Once you have all your ingredients you can simply mix them all together or you have the option to add onions/garlic and saute together! I prefer eating this bowl with cold ingredients, especially during the summer! Sometimes I even add lettuce or arugula to give it a bit of a crunch. Thats the best part about this recipe – you can easily customize it to your liking and preference! This quinoa bowl is simple, yummy and easy to prepare at home on a lazy day or to make baon to work.
